View Full Review"March 7, 2026 update to my Feb. review. Ended up doing the chimney flashing due to rains and wind finally breaking through the cracks to garage. It cost $3800+ [including tax]. Shockingly expensive esp since they didn't use any new tile. Instead they moldec lead over old tile. Yes, lead makes it rust proof, and no leaks should occur unless a tornado hits SW WA. I adjusted my overall star review to 4 stars vs. 5. I give them 5 stars for eventually stopping the leak. But only 3 stars for application aesthetics, lack of visual detail in the end result, lack of detail on what the source of costs are on quote/invoice, & lack of proactive scheduling. I expected more at this price. Helpful tips if you need flashing from any roofer: Ask for a detailed quote (how do they come up with that price for 3-5 hrs of work, materials used, and sq footage of damage to be fixed) and ask FOR A SKETCH or pictures of how it will look. Follow up with an exact start date. Even if an inspector passes the work they did the neighbors or potential buyers of your house will question why the chimney looks that way, and if there was damage. When you get final bill make sure they deduct anything that wasn't done (like tarping when it wad raining), which you'll have to track since the quote and invoice are not detailed!! I've never seen a more genrric invoice in all my years as both customer and (technology) project manager. I will stand by my original part of the review stating the team is nice, and responsive when you call. When Jose showed up to do the work he was focused, and cleaned up the area at night. But the overall ""finished look"" doesn't make me feel happy about paying the price. Note about scheduling: I had to call every night to find out when our work would start (quote and 50% payment given on a Monday, then work started the following Monday because one of their guys was on vacation and they don't work weekends). I realize my flashing wasn't the big ticket $40k they make on a full roof, but $3400 is equivalent to $34k to my eldery mother. I need to develop an app that tracks pricing and pictures from different contractors (google reviews are good but not enough people share pricing or real customer POV & pictures). I try to support small family businesses when possible, whike I still expect a high level of value. I attached pictures of the ""after"" flashing. Five days later it's still not pretty (but the ceiling is dry). Original review from Feb. Valiant is honest, thorough, educational and accesible roofing team!! If all companies were like them it would be a more fair world! Even during the FREE inspection Kyle told me his process, took his time to go through the attic to check for leaks and damage, shared pictures while educating me. Then the tile inspection was just as thorough! He walked me through and educated me on what he saw and what I should look out for. All this during an inspection - just honest, through and through. Thank you!"

View Full Review"Had Valiant Roofing replace the rain gutters and downspouts on my house. Bare (unpainted) wood was discovered behind the existing gutters when removed. Contacted Kevin Stewart (Estimator) and Kendra Locke (Production Manager) about our unprepared situation. Valiant Roof facilitated the purchase and delivery of matching house paint to this job-site within the hour. The crew painted the bare wood, installed the gutters and downspouts to our satisfaction by late afternoon! Oscar (Crew Manager) gave us a walkthrough of the work completed. The area around the house was cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Lastly, I followed up with John Jensen (Inside Sales) who I’ve been in contact regarding the scheduling of this job. Very satisfied with the quality, value and look of the gutters & installation. I would recommend Valiant Roofing to friends and family 😊"

There were a few hiccups (primarily about communication); however, everything was resolved. They also installed a new bath exhaust. My new roof looks great. I am looking forward to the benefits of the much improved attic ventilation. These are a few reasons why Valiant Roofing is recognized as a 'Platinum' installer by Owens-Corning. Was able to get a bid quickly, and without feeling pressured - which was our very uncomfortable experience with another local roofing company. Bid was extremely fair and timeline to schedule was reasonable, especially with the holidays and weather. From committing the initial payment to schedule the job, to the project wrapping up and even follow ups, they were very professional, kind and communicative. I got updates daily throughout the project, which was fantastic since I was out of town. I think the extra mile was when I received photos of the progress along the way because I had expressed that I was bummed not to be able to see the work happening myself. It was nothing I expected or directly asked for but was delighted to receive."

Our technicians, Dennis and Andrew, were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated their hard work and I'm pretty sure it made for a longer day for them than expected. They also found a couple other small problems that they found and repaired. Thanks guys, great work! I consider myself a reasonable person, so when a company gives me a date and time, I expect them to be there. If they're crew is delayed, or even if rescheduling is needed, just a quick phone call or text message is all I expect. When there's a no show and no message that's not professional. Maybe just an anomaly, but not the best way to start."

I handle multi-million dollar jobs for work all the time so when it came to bidding and all the things, it was well within my wheelhouse. Valiant over achieved all my expectations from job walk to clean-up and the communication of all facets of the project was spot on. Judy was the job site rep and not only did she keep the crew on point but she ensured by pup was safe and sound while I was away. Because of this the second satellite was left dangling off the roof. I was asked on the first day what should be done about the satellites. I said they both should be taken off and thrown away. I will now have to hire a handyman to take it down because its not safe the way its dangling off the roof. Everything else was superb."

Good communication during the whole project. We got three bids, they were able to beat the other two and were able to get it done sooner than the other companies could. They also replaced two skylights. The roof looks great and they cleaned up everything when they were done. Andrew also did a very through final inspections. I appreciate all their hard work. Thanks."

View Full Review"We had a very good experience with Valiant Roofing. We had multiple quotes for a full roof replacement and chose to go with Valiant based on the product quality and warranty. They were not the most expensive and they were not the cheapest, cost was right in the middle. There were a few scheduling issues that occurred, but the job got done in 3 days as promised. None of the workers who were on site spoke to me or communicated with me at all during thr process, they just showed up, did the job and went home when it got dark. There were a few errors that were made, but the company came out and fixed it immediately. The biggest issue we had was the cleanup. I was told during the consult that they're very detailed with the cleanup, they were not. We kept finding staples, nails and roofing material around the property for the next week. Overall though, were very happy with our roof and the service received."

They didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. they completed the job quickly (roof repair & gutter replacement) in a day, the work looks great, and no hassle. Just good work. Highly recommend!"

View Full Review"Valient Roofing installed my new roof earlier this month. The old roof was 28 years old, so it was time. When Carlos came over, he climbed up on the roof and went in the attic. He took pictures to show me any concerns. It took a day and a half for tear off and installation. The project manager called me both days. After the crew left, the project manager came over and I pointed out that my patio furniture was covered with grit and dirt. He hosed off the patio and the furniture. He then got on the roof and did an inspection. He took pictures and showed me all the new vents and valleys that were installed. I am very happy with my new roof."

View Full Review"I was finishing up a cabin remodel for a client and my previous installer, Cascade Continuous Gutters LLC, forgot to install one downspout and never came back. I believe they went belly up. I did a google search for gutter installers near Mt.Hood and landed on Valiant Roofing. They responded quickly and scheduled me immediately. The color was custom so we could not match exactly with the in house colors. I needed it done before Thanksgiving so we went with a close match and they are going to find the matching color and replace it in the spring. Much appreciated and will use them again for sure."

He gave me all of the information, listened to my concerns and gave me straightforward answers. His inspection and estimate was extremely thorough and he walked me through the loan process. I had them replace a deck that was on top of my garage in 2023, and they ended up replacing the entire front siding of my house as part of the extensive repairs necessary to stop the leaking. They installed an awesome vinyl deck top and new railing that looks sharp. Later, when there was a new leak in my garage, they came out same day and repaired it free of charge - even though the leak had nothing to do with the deck they installed. It’s rare to find a company that does exceptional work, and even more rare to find one that stands by their craftsmanship without question. Jack and Kendra and the entire Valiant team are those people. They are the best contractor i know and I’ll never look to another roofing company so long as they remain in business."

To prevent us from spending to much on unnecessary work that was recommended from other companies we had received quotes from. He knew our budget and was able to keep within those parameters. I was anxoius about the process but he explained the whole process so there will be no surprises! Honest. Hard working. Affordable, quality work that I will recommend 100% of the time! View Full Review"We built a house in the pacific northwest with a 6.5’ skylight at the top. It had to be replaced in October (rainy season). Valiant roofing saved the day! They quoted us accurately, were great about communicating and made it to our house on time the scheduled day and between rainfalls! There was morning ice / frost on our roof so the two delightful, talented young men who came to our house had to wait for ice to melt and then dry the roof with old towels before they removed the old window and installed the new one.The next day the rains poured down and our house stayed dry!"

We did ultimately buy a nicer roofing package and we feel very good about the quality of the materials and craftsmanship of the job. The guys on the roof seemed to really love what they do, which was refreshing. Gutters were installed a few weeks later and we have had a few rains since. Everything is holding up nicely and our neighbors have complimented us on the craftsmanship of the job. Highly recommend this company! Done pics were provided by Valiant after the roof was completed, which we thought was super cool. We had a few spots of concern, but the admin person explained what we were looking at and assured us things were as they should be. Thanks so much, Valiant!"

View Full Review"This summer we unfortunately experienced one a homeowners worst nightmares, a leaking roof. Our first encounter with a local roofing contractor was even worse! After a brief inspection, they came back with a quite MINIMUM quote of 50K to replace the roof on our 963sqft home!!! This was quite a shock and seemed really excessive! Luckily we were approached at the Clark County Fair by a representative of Valiant Roofing. We were quickly able to set up an in-depth inspection with one of their very knowledgeable inspectors. The quote for under 20K was more than reasonable. Valiant was able to work around our previous scheduled vacation. The roofers showed up at our house exactly as promised, they were professional and very courteous. They certainly knew their job. The work was completed very quickly, in under 2 days. They cleaned up all the roofing debris and left the driveway even cleaner than before they started. We were surprised to have a customer service representative, Abbey, call to set up an after completion inspection and interview. She was truly interested in our roofing experience, she even took pictures of roof, using a drone! We received a quality roof with a written warranty backed by Owen’s Corning. We definitely would recommend Valiant Roofing for all of your roofing needs!"

View Full Review"We built this house 25 years ago and we had been to Africa 14 times. My wife wanted this house to be inspired by African culture and all of our adventures. We ended up paying for a copper metal roof, but within four to five years it started to leak and the paint started to peel off. We put up with all the problems for years, until we decided to get a new roof. We shopped around for a couple places, but ended up going with Valiant Roofing! We looked at different choices they had for roofing options and we chose a presidential roof and with some beautiful colors mixed in. We couldn't be happier! The crew that did our roof was an absolute delight to have working on our home. They did a fantastic job! Now the roof is completed and we couldn’t be more happy with the results! I would recommend them to anybody that needs a quality roofing company to roof their house!"

View Full Review"I recently did a quote on their website because I saw they roofed my neighbors place, the quote was easy and simple (hence the two stars). Even though they said they won’t contact you, they did reach out.However, it was clear that they didn’t want or need my business. I asked them to come out and look at my roof to see the life left. They directed me back to get a quote for the cost on their website and told me if I’m losing grit, it’s time for a new roof. How do I know if I’m losing grit? I haven’t been on my roof and that’s why I was reaching out to a professional. I reached out to another company who actually took the time to come out and looked at my roof. I have some time before I need a new roof but they noticed I had an issue with my plastic vent caps all being cracked and actively leaking which I had no idea. I spent my money with another roofer to get my vent caps replaced."

View Full Review"My initial experience was not the best with the crew that came out. I reached out to the company with my concerns thinking I was going to get brushed away. After speaking to the representative that handles the complaints she was very helpful and heard my concerns without making me feel like I was a bother or it was my fault. I expressed to her all the problems and she sent a tech out to address them. When the tech came out they were very attentive to the issues. Fixed the problems I had. Although I still felt the work itself was rushed they fixed the problems and thats all I could ask of them. I paid up and figured that was that I would move on. Well I got a call from the owner and he wanted to hear what haapened and try to find a way to make it right. After telling him my experience let's just say he went above and beyond to make the experience better. My initial review was a 2 star. But after speaking with the owner and him showing me he does care about every customer and was willing to take time to call and make it right. Really showed the company isnt out to just make money that they truly care. 5 stars for the crew behind the scenes."

View Full Review"Had us sign the contract with said monthly payments, then decided to do credit checks, just to say oh no, you have to pay a higher monthly payment. Blake, tried to blame our credits as to why they had us sign contract with monthly payment that worked with us. also they had us do a review before anything was said and done, even before signing contract. Lots of false advertisement and false statements to rope you in. This was the 7th roofing company we had come out and quote us, before we decided go through with this company. We obviously backed out."

View Full Review"Valiant roofing did a whole new roofing system and gutters on my house. Be sure you give these guys a call, I think you’ll be surprised by their pricing and due diligence. Blake the salesman did a good job explaining the whole system to us, I wasn’t expecting a presentation and honestly thought it was silly at first but afterwards I’m glad they did this because I wasn’t aware of all the different options. I came out more knowledgeable than before and it really helped me understand what I was spending my money on. Kinda wish other trades like HVAC, plumbing etc would do this. Roofing crew had my old roof off and new roof on in one full day, with the upgraded intakes and ridge vents, which take extra time. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Only recommendation for these guys is take a little time after the jobs finished and clean up a little better afterwards, had to rinse off some dirt and debris that were left on my house. Small issue but I do maintain my house well and those little details go along way with me. Kendra came and we inspected the finished product, I noted some minor issues I had and she was totally understanding and willing to get someone back there to help fix them asap, lots of companies are well versed in deflection and making things seem like there not a big deal but it wasn’t like that at all. Gives me major confidence that if any further issues arise that they will be here for me. I can now feel confident with my new roof and gutters and can recommend them to my friends and family."

I know the roof was in really bad shape and a lot of the planking needed to be replaced. His quote actually reflected a reasonably accurate amount of planking in the quote. It did end up being a few more boards which you never fully know until the shingles are off. I truly appreciate the thoroughness of this company. They also did my entire roof in a day! I am blown away at how amazing this company is and have referred several people so far."
